I don’t know if news sources were short that day at CBS but I sure am glad they did this piece. It’s always nice to see the lighter side of the news.
Turns out the people over at American University in Washington D.C., at the the Kogod School of Business have decided that the best way to alleviate a person’s nerves when it comes to public speaking is to give them a dog! An audience dog that is.
The University reports to have seen a great improvement since the program has started. Honestly, I’m not surprised. Dogs are used in many areas to alleviate stress such as hospitals, courtrooms, prisons, you name it!
My question is, are the pups really there to listen or are they merely there for the treats?
