Course Breakdown

  • Module One: Introduction and Welcome
  • Learn to create, prepare and deliver a seamless webcast that persuades, motivates and gets your online audience to do what you want by keeping the right participants engaged, involved and excited about what you have to say. We show you how to captivate a “virtual” audience and develop an actively participating community that absorbs your message and takes the action you want them to take.
  • Module Two: Create an Agenda
  • Create an agenda with the exact topics that your audience wants to know & follow. It’s not about you at all. It’s about your audience. In a webcast, your audience needs to have a map to follow you and know exactly where they’re going throughout the webcast. I’m going to give you specific tips and examples of exactly how to do this.
  • Module Three:  Create Your Script
  • Write a script that that you can deliver naturally. A lot of sound like they’re reading when they give a webinar, and may not even know they are doing this. After you’ve created your agenda, I’m going to show you how to naturally deliver a script that doesn’t sound like you’re reading.
  • Module Four: Create a Slideshow
  • Create an engaging slideshow that also serves as your handout. I’m actually going to model for you exactly how to do this with all my slides (Not just sort of, but exactly) how to create your slideshow and what building blocks you will need to do it.
  • Module Five: Get Attendees
  • Get the right people be excited about attending your webcast. It’s time to get people to show up to your webinar. This is one of the hardest things that people struggle with. They put together this great content, and then nobody shows up to listen to it. Discover how to make sure that never happens to you.
  • Module Six: Prepare Effectively
  • Prepare yourself, the audience and your team. You will learn how you can be confident when you start presenting by identifying the right people to actually present your webinar and the crew that you need to join you in rehearsing your presentation.
  • Module Seven: Connect With Your Audience
  • Connect with the audience right away even when they are all muted. After the first five sessions, you’re finally ready to connect with your audience. I’m going to show you how to introduce the webcast in a way that grabs the audience in the very first minute. If you want to try to engage people from the get-go, this is the session for you, and I’m going to model for you exactly how to do it..
  • Module Eight: Get Your Message Across
  • Use media to get more people to listen to you. Ask yourself if your media benefits you or the audience. If it benefits you, remove it. If it benefits the audience, keep it. That’s how you can tell if it’s the right media. I’m going to show you my favorite ways to use media and PowerPoint to maximize impact.
  • Module Nine: Stimulate Audience Interaction
  • Set and manage a pace that works for everyone in your audience. Most people know how to manage pace for some people in their audience. I’m going to show you how to do it for everyone in your audience. You’ll also learn how to never run out of time, and what to do if you have too much time. These techniques will work for any presentation you give, no matter how long.
  • Module Ten: Close Well
  • Finish the presentation so that they feel like the webcast was a success. This is one of my favorites because I can model how to wrap it up and really get people to enjoy what we’ve done. There’s three techniques: wrap up the webcast, handle business announcement and answer remaining questions. Like always, I’ll model exactly how to do it.
  • Module Eleven: Connect After the Webcast
  • The best ways to keep the lines of communication open after webcast. We’ll start with how to follow up with individuals and get that post-webcast feedback. Then we’ll give you some heavy hitters on how to grow your audience over time.
