Course Breakdown
Module One : FACE YOUR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING
Turn your negative speaking fears into confident beliefs. Everyone has heard the statistics: The fear of public speaking is worse than the fear of death. A Gallup poll confirmed that the greatest fear of 40 percent of Americans is public speaking. Is it really possible to overcome that fear? Absolutely. Successful speakers have profitable speaking beliefs. Eventually, those same speakers go on to million-dollar careers. Discover how you too can have profitable beliefs about public speaking. You’ll learn a process around speaking that you can actually stick to and that actually feels good and happens naturally for you.
Module Two : CREATE A NO-FEAR PRESENTATION
Make speaking as easy and routine as brushing your teeth. It was the year 2012. I had just finished a keynote speech about public speaking, and a dozen people came up towards me after the speech and stood in line waiting to talk to me. One of them said something to me that inspired this entire program. He said, “While all that stuff is great that you taught today, no other advice you give me will matter until I can overcome my fear. Once it sets in, I can’t think about anything else.” After hearing this, I looked him in the eyes, after everyone had left the room, and I said, “Nobody is born an amazing public speaker. That trait is learned, and there is a specific recipe you can use to do it. I can teach it to you if you want.” He looked at me and said, “Yes, absolutely.” You’re about to learn what I taught him.
Module Three : PRACTICE YOUR NO-FEAR PRESENTATION
Practice to become irresistible to your audience. Audiences love being around attractive speakers. That’s because attractive speakers help others unleash what’s already inside of them. When others are around attractive speakers, they think they can do anything.
Proper preparation will make your nerves (and your fears) go away from the moment you set foot “on stage”, and even before. Both you and your audience will feel more comfortable, confident, and safe. It’ll transform your nerves from feelings of anxiety to excitement and enthusiasm. I assure you this will happen sooner than you might expect.
Module Four : DELIVER A NO-FEAR PRESENTATION
Appear calm and collected even when you’re feeling nervous inside. Everyone wants to know how to get up in front of an audience and connect with it—right away. I will tell you how. Using the Rule the Room principles, you will get an immediate response that will be unlike any you have experienced. The rustling will stop. People will come to attention. Eyes will be fixed on you. That’s because you will be using techniques most presenters have no idea about but that will win over even the toughest audience. You may even be surprised to find you’re enjoying yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Still sitting on the fence? Here are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.
Question:
What is Calm?
Answer:
Calm is a universal, step-by-step plan for overcoming your fear of public speaking and going from phobic to epic presentations.
It’s a 4-module complete system of 5+ hours of video lessons plus a 142-page downloadable workbook. (NOTE: A complete course description can be found in the middle of this page.)
The course level is for all levels, and is the same proven system we used with software developers and hundreds of other professionals to help them overcome their nerves and fear and get up on stage and deliver a no-fear presentation.
Calm will fast-track your way to conquering your fear of public speaking…
Here’s how it works:
In the last 36 months my team and I have invested over 3500 hours (of our own time) observing and coaching over 1000 people to conquer their fear of public speaking and delivery amazing presentations.
…this recipe has been tested with real audiences.
And along the way we have perfected a large number of strategies and tactics (112 to be exact). More importantly, like any good coach, we DOCUMENT each strategy. You’ll not only get to see me (Jason) model “step-by-step” exactly what we suggest you do…
…you’ll also get to see me model it for all the key time frames in your presentation when fear can rear its UGLY head. This includes facing your fear, creating, practicing, and delivering your no-fear presentation.
There’s all meat and no fluff. If you want backstory and theory, go read a blog post. Calm is all about taking action and getting results as quickly and easily as possible.

To fully understand and apply the materials, you should allow 2-4 days if you are working full-time, and 7-10 days if you are taking the class part-time.
Question:
How long will it take to get access to this program?
Answer:
Immediate.
Your login and access information will be sent to the email address you provide, and there will be a video on the next page that explains how you can access the video program and workbook and get started going from Phobic to Epic Presentations!
Question:
When do I have to finish the Calm program?
Answer:
It’s totally up to you. You can go at whatever pace suits you best! You’ve got a lot of other things going on in your life, so just because you enroll in the Calm training doesn’t mean you need to complete it right away. In fact, you can start and finish Calm whenever you want. Either way, we’re going to be there with you every step of the way to ensure you’re successful.
Question:
How long can I keep the Calm program?
Answer:
It’s yours for life. It’s not about having to get up in front of 1,000 people when you’re still learning and practice and feeling embarrassed. That just creates more negative tables for yourself that spirals. You need positive tables. You get results as you learn this program from the privacy of your own location, on your own device, and at your own your pace. The best part? You get to keep it. Forever.
Question:
Do you offer grants or financial aid for your Calm program?
Answer:
At this time, no grants or financial aid programs are available. The good news is that we have priced our classes so that they are affordable to all, especially compared to similar public speaking and presentation programs and workshops.

Testimonials
”Combining years of personal experience as well as knowledge in psychology and sociology, Jason delivered clear advice and practical exercises that helped me not only overcome my fear of public speaking, but also turned me into a better oral communicator.”
Kyle Reger
Software Developer
“I conquered my fear in my last presentation. Thanks to Jason, I was able to give my presentation effectively in front of a crowd without the security of a podium or table. To spectators, I looked and sounded confident. My body did not betray me with shakes or stutters, which is really all I was going for. I was almost surprised how easy it was once I got into it. Even better, now that I have done it once, I feel much more confident about doing it again. Having concrete evidence that I can get up there and not fall apart feels good. And my guess is that with these types of things, you build a momentum. Much like how you can spiral out of control then crash and burn, you can have a positive feedback loop. Now that I am better at public speaking, I feel more confident, which makes me better again and become even more confident.”
Payvand Moaddel
Associate Software Engineer
“Jason’s programs offer a level of expertise on and research into the topic of presentation skills that is beyond even what I’ve experienced from other specialists brought in to address various topics. The training helped me prepare for and deliver effective software demonstrations to a broad group of hospital executives and decision makers. I would wholeheartedly recommend these programs to anyone interested in knowing how to deliver an effective presentation.”
John Reis
Project Manager
“The presentation skills courses I have taken from Jason have really helped me gain credibility with my customers. That has increased my confidence, and has also fueled me to improve my internal communication skills which I can apply when teaching and presenting to employees (not only customers). I now feel much more interested in increasingly customer-facing roles (such as being an IC) that require lots of presentations and face time with leadership.”
Sarah Bottjen
Epic Project Management/Implementation Director
”Tremendously profound, explaining how to be perceptive of the needs of your audience while projecting the confidence necessary for an entertaining, informative presentation.”
Travis Vroman
Software Developer
”Your presentation was extremely helpful. I had thought my presentation was all but finished. Then I attended the webinar and learned that I had committed most of the sins of PowerPoint and was preparing to lead my attendees to a slow and painful death by PowerPoint. Yikes! I had always thought the PowerPoint was the presentation and needed to stand alone on its own. Probably because I see so many like that.”
Gregory Hopson
University of Iowa
”Jason is a master at understanding people. What has been interesting to me is that Jason uses his own techniques to “rule the room.”
Jeremy Wright
Project Manager
”I consider Jason to be the best trainer, the best presenter, and most of all, the best teacher here. I’ve always recommended that team members find a way to attend his classes to learn about not just the source material, but also the finer points of public speaking.”
Josh Holzbauer
Project Manager
”Jason gave one of the most impressive and engaging mini-trainings that I’ve ever seen. It was a short 15 minute one on one ‘How to launch an effective presentation.’ During it he created this amazing synergy where he’d be describing a technique that he’d just used on his audience. For example, teaching us about ‘the hook’ 10 seconds after he’d hooked us. He kept that up for the entire talk. Being able to hear him describe a concept while we still felt under its sway was incredible. His mastery of the material — and of delivering training in general — is profound.”
Todd Elkin
Project & Product Manager
”I have found that slowing down and concentrating on what I’m doing with my hands, my voice, and whether my feet are pointed out does a good job of calming me and distracting me from any presentations jitters. As a result, I’m a more confident presenter.”
Geoffrey Blanding
Project Manager
”Honestly, this was one of the most helpful classes in my career and I think your presentation skills training was at the core of what made the class so effective. You model the skills that we want to obtain, and I think that helps a lot of different learning styles. I liked this class so much I tell my team members and ACs to attend this class anyways.”
Rachel Goldsmith
Implementation Services
”Your presentation training helped me immensely understand that people love presentations when they are learning what they want to know. After taking your presentation training into account, I know how to design a course that will empower the end user by teaching them what they want to know – things that will make them happy, successful, or more efficient. The fun part is, while you are teaching them what they want to know, you can sneak the things in that they need to know. There is so much more I can learn from your training as well, and I know this is just the tip of the iceberg.”
Tucker Morris
MCTS–System Engineer
”My mouth and brain aren’t always in sync. Your class helped me focus more on speaking deliberately and using pauses appropriately."
Tyler Camp
Implementation Services
”Jason Teteak knows the soft skills that make you want to listen when he talks, and is avid about cultivating them in those he works with. I have seen Jason flourish (and help others flourish) in a role that demands presentations to the highest and lowest levels of understanding and experience. Somehow Jason talks to them all at once as if he has tailored the message just for them. Whether you have to deal with a legend of their own mind type or the terrified first timer convinced they just can’t do it, Jason can tell you how to figure out the learning needs of those individuals and how to avoid leaving either of them out in the same conversation. ”
